Spanish Classical Guitar and the influence of Spanish Guitar Music

I have always loved Spanish guitar music from my early days of learning classical and Spanish guitar styles as a young boy. It seemed fitting for me to one day do homage in the form of a website about the wonderful sound world of Spanish guitar music.

My first records were an EP of Andres Segovia Spanish classical guitar player and the 50 guitars of Tommy Garret an LP record of South American music. This album was full of Spanish guitar sounds and music that was very influenced Spanish guitar music.

Soon followed ‘Music for Pleasure’ records that had the incredible Flamenco guitar playing of Philip John Lee. All this Spanish guitar music had an incredible influence on me which has lasted to this day.
